The ARNA Executive Committee is pleased to announce the leadership for our 2016 Conference in Knoxville, Tennessee. The 2016 Conference Co-Chairs are John Peters, Ph.D. (Professor Emeritus, Educational Psychology & Counseling, University of Tennessee, Knoxville) and Doris Santos, Ph.D. (Associate Professor of Linguistics, Faculty of Human Sciences, Universidad Nacional De Colombia, Bogota). The Conference Coordinator is Janine Al-Aseer, M.S., who is a doctoral student in the Learning Environments and Educational Studies Program at the University of Tennessee. John, Doris and Janine have begun assembling the full Conference Planning Committee for Knoxville and will announce the committee later this summer. The 2016 Conference will take place June 17-18 in Knoxville. In keeping with ARNA practice, Doris also will co-chair the 2017 Conference in Cartagena, Colombia. ARNA Knowledge Mobilization Coordinator Lonnie Rowell will co-chair the Cartagena Conference with Doris. The ARNA Executive Committee extends a hearty “Thank you” to John, Doris and Janine as they begin planning for the June 2016 gathering in Knoxville!
